Today is the first time we discuss veterans relaunching careers following military service. Veterans are participating in return to work programs in increasing numbers, which provide them with support while transitioning to civilian roles. Our guest, Chris DeJesus, spent nine years in an elite corps of the U.S. Air Force, including working with the Presidential Airlift. He deployed in 2012 to Afghanistan. Chris finished his military service in 2016 and ultimately made his way to his dream job at NASA where he is today. This did not happen right away and it was a challenging process. What Chris learned is relevant for all relaunchers and he shares his advice in this engaging conversation.
