My name is Renae Stout. I am a Technical Program Manager at Oracle currently based out of San Diego, CA. I hold my Master’s in Business Administration, but started my career in the healthcare industry as an Athletic Trainer. My spouse has been an active duty sailor for the past 5 years and California is our third state we have lived in during that time. Oracle is the 4th company I’ve worked for throughout our relationship, and my current role was the first time I did not have to look for another position during one of our moves. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, traveling when possible, eating new foods, and cuddling with my two dogs, Poppy and Snoopy.

Monique Garcia Rizer has more than a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector leading teams, operationalizing big ideas, and advocating for policy change in the media and on Capitol Hill. She has served in leadership and executive roles for direct service nonprofits, coalitions, and policy advocacy organizations. Monique was a military spouse for 13 years to a reserve service member. She describes herself as ‘relaunching’ twice; first after her partner’s deployment, and second after a major life transition. Her professional experience includes serving as a nonprofit Executive Director of Urban Alliance’s Greater D.C. region, which provides workforce readiness skill development, evidence-based programming, and rigorous work-based learning experiences to nearly 800 youth and young adults in six school districts. She also previously served as executive director of the national coalition, Opportunity Nation, where the team developed and relaunched the Opportunity Index, secured partnerships with a leading consulting firm, social science researchers, and the media to tell the story of opportunity in America. She also previously created and scaled an award-winning career program for military spouses. As one of the first class of Gates Millennium Scholars, she completed a B.A. from Gonzaga University and an M.S. from Syracuse University. Monique’s most important role is as a mom of three, the eldest who serves as a military officer in the National Guard.

Emerald Trejo is a Navy spouse currently stationed in San Francisco Bay Area, and is currently in the process of PCSing back to San Diego. Emerald currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at Lockheed Martin, serves as a mentor on Veterati, volunteers her time as an ACP mentor and serves as the ombudsman for her spouse's command. Her professional journey started as a Travel Agent and then she transitioned into Tech. Emerald's previous employment includes Guild Mortgage, Oracle and a Chicago-based cybersecurity startup. She is dedicated to the advancement of Military Spouses in STEM.

Sylvia Taylor is a Navy spouse currently residing in Austin, TX. Sylvia has a background in audit and information systems, with a focus on privacy and technology risk & compliance services. Sylvia began her career with Deloitte and returned to Deloitte in 2015 after a 5+ year career break to focus on building a family. She currently works as a Manager with Deloitte.
