Job Scraping
As an alternative to manually posting jobs, an employer may be able to scrape jobs. Job scraping benefits employers who post large numbers of roles and/or post new roles frequently. Interested employers should reach out to Shalini Sharma to see whether job scraping is appropriate for their job posting needs.
To be eligible for scraping:
- Job postings may only be scraped directly from an employer's own site. Our job board platform cannot scrape from third-party sites such as LinkedIn, Monster or Indeed.
- Job postings must be for relaunchers only. Jobs for which both relaunchers and non-relaunchers are eligible cannot be scraped.
- Our job board platform must be able to identify these relauncher-specific job postings through the use of hashtag identifiers (e.g., #returnship), keywords, career reentry landing page URL, or a combination of these from the employer’s career reentry program landing page/careers site.
- Once the scraping has been implemented, it is the employer’s responsibility to check that the job postings are scraping accurately and to inform Shalini Sharma of any issues.
The scraped job postings will automatically close on the job board after the job has been closed on the employer’s site.
Please contact Shalini Sharma to learn more about our job scraping function.
