During eight years 'at home' with my young children, I remained active as a volunteer, writing marketing plans and serving on marketing committees for various nonprofits . After my youngest started first grade, I knew it was time to re-launch my career. As I began networking, I met Jules Pieri, the wonderful founder of DailyGrommet.com. Jules and I 'bartered' on a small project - she'd give me some experience and exposure, and I'd put some time against a project the founders didn't have time to attack. I jumped at the chance, and now I work a flexible part-time schedule with a group of phenomenal people. I can't wait to see what the future brings - it's great to be back!
